Got a drawer full of washi tape you adore… but rarely use? Let’s fix that!

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore creative ways to actually use your washi stash to make your journals more interactive, expressive, and visually cohesive. 

Participants will learn how to:

• Create hinges for moving parts like tip-ins and pockets
• Creative techniques to incorporate ephemera with washi
• Make simple tabs and bookmarks to bring your pages to life

We’ll also cover aesthetic techniques, including Patricia’s signature washi collage method for building cohesive spreads, plus ideas for journaling spots, borders, photo frames, and even turning your tapes into custom stickers and shapes through cutting and tearing.

Participants will receive a couple of new washi tapes to take home and sample cards for making mini swatch collections. Please bring a generous handful of your own washi stash (if you have one!) to use and share. We’ll spend time trading samples, experimenting together, and leaving with new inspiration!
