WE BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF CONNECTION
There's a sense of nostalgia behind sending a handwritten note that we absolutely adore. It's personal, it's intimate, it's a memory that can last for years to come. If you can get all that on a card that makes you laugh, has a ridiculous animal on it, or says something incredibly silly - isn't that even better?
We're passionate about helping you find your people, and want our cards and products to help you on that journey. It's being at a market, and someone picking up an card and going:
"OMG I study crayfish and their effects on eco-systems - I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE A CRAYFISH CARD"
OR
"I've been searching all over for art for my classroom, and this is exactly what I want my students to see everyday!"
It's that feeling that we want to bottle up and save forever, a sense of belonging and ultimately, connection.

THE ARTIST
Hey there ya'll. My name is Sara, and I'm the founder, owner, designer, illustrator and all around Stationery Lady behind Dear Ollie. I live and work in the middle of the mitten state with my ridiculously supportive husband, our two dogs, two cats, and a handful of chickens. With their help, we launched in 2014. In addition to Dear Ollie, I am a freelance illustrator and muralist. You can check out my portfolio at sarapulver.com.
When I'm not drawing weird animals, you can find me wandering aimlessly through the woods, watching movies, eating ice-cream, listening to podcasts, and basically consuming media in any way I can.
OUR NAME
Dear Ollie is named after one of our dear pups, Oliver. It's only appropriate that a line featuring mainly imagery of weird animals be named after one. He is a huge jerk, but also the snuggliest dog you'll ever meet. We feel like that describes the sentiments here pretty well. Snarky, sassy, badass, and full of love.
