While it would be pretty cool if “Ink Swap” was in reference to getting tattoos, in this case it is actually all about FOUNTAIN PEN INK! Yay! 

Do you have…dare I say…too many bottled inks?? (No, I know, it’s not possible. But just in case…) 

Do you maybe have a bottle of ink that you thought you liked but every time you put it in a pen, you find that you’re just not reaching for it? 

OR MAYBE you have a favorite ink ever and you want to proselytize its perfection by bringing it to share with all. 

Whatever the reason, we encourage every participant to bring at least one bottle of ink that they are comfortable sharing some samples from, and in return, you will be able to take home some samples of ink from other swappers. 

In this swap, Dear Ollie & Co will provide 3 empty ink vials per person, as well as many plastic eye droppers for the purpose of decanting ink from bottles into vials. 

If you want, you are welcome to bring in pre-decanted ink samples and/or empty vials of your own to see if you can collect additional inks.

We ask that everyone be respectful when deciding on what (and how many) ink samples to take.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED so that we know how many tables and chairs to prepare, as well as how many ink vials might be required. 

Cost: This event is FREE, but since there are resources, time, and staff needed to host an event such as this, we do suggest a donation of $15

What to Bring: Any bottles of ink that you are willing to share samples from, as well as any empty or pre-filled vials of ink that you would like to share/swap. 

What Will Be Provided: [3 empty 5ml vials per person], pipettes, paper towels, gloves, tables, chairs, staff oversight. There is no agenda or structure to this event! 

What You Will Receive: Camaraderie and maybe some new goodies! If you register and attend this event, you will receive the Ink Swap Merit Badge.
